Two Main Pillars of Shimokitazawa Hospital
We will solve your daily foot problems as “All-arounders for Foot.”
To stay healthy, life style including diet and exercise is most important for us.
The fundamental of exercise is to support the body weight by own feet, legs and lower back and move, i.e. “to walk.” Foot is critical for walking; however, many people may wonder which department they should go to for foot pain, wound, trouble with shoes, and so on.
In our Podiatry Center, doctors in orthopedics, vascular surgery, plastic surgery and other related departments are teamed up and will help to solve all kinds of your foot problems.
We will provide advanced treatment to proactively prevent complications and aggravation of diabetes.
In our hospital, team consisting of two diabetologists, nurses, pharmacists, dieticians and other specialists will support the diabetic patients.
The professional team is ready for a variety of treatments ; diet therapy, exercise therapy, medication therapy, checkups enabling to see blood glucose(blood glucose monitoring system), Continuous Subcutaneous Insulin Infusion CSII, Carbohydrate Counting, foot care and others.
In Setagaya there do not exist many hospitals with such a multiple number of diabetes professionals, always being able to help the patients with the latest treatments
In cooperation with the team of our Podiatry Center, we will support the patients who keep working as well as who keep walking, aiming preventing onset of diabetic symptoms and aggravation of diabetes complications.
